Cookie policy
Pursuant to the current legislation on the protection of personal data ("Privacy Legislation"), including in EU Reg. 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the Provision of the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data ("Privacy Guarantor") No. 229/2014 on the identification of simplified procedures for the provision of information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies, Prodocto by Andrea Pietrocola as the data controller (the "Controller") provides you with the following information regarding the cookies installed on the website https://www.prodocto.it/ (the “Website”).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that sites visited by the user send to the user's terminal (usually to the browser) where they are stored and then transmitted back to the same sites the next time the same user visits. Some cookies are installed by the site operator (so-called "first-party"). In the course of browsing a site, the user may also receive cookies on his or her terminal that are sent by different sites or web servers (so-called "third parties"), on which some elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the site that the same is visiting may reside. Depending on the type and purpose of cookies, there are different requirements and purposes under the legislation on the processing of personal data. We indicate below the types of cookies used by the site, with their characteristics, purposes and retention times. It is specified that where the retention period indicated is the "session," it means that the data remains for the duration of a session and is deleted when the user closes the browser used for web browsing.
1.1 Technical cookies
Technical cookies enable the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service.
Technical session or navigation cookies ensure normal navigation and enjoyment of the website. From the first access, these cookies allow the site to function correctly and allow you to view content on your device by recognizing the language and market of the country from which you have chosen to connect. If you are a registered user, they will allow them to recognize you and access the services offered in the dedicated areas.
Technical functionality cookies allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. These cookies allow, based on your expressed request, to recognize you at subsequent accesses so that you do not have to enter your data at each visit (for example: "Recognize me next time"). Functional cookies are not essential to the operation of the site, but they improve the quality and experience of navigation.
Analytical technical cookies (so-called analytics) are used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site and are assimilated to technical cookies. So these cookies are used to process statistical analysis of how users navigate our site. The Owner processes the results of these analyses anonymously and exclusively for statistical purposes only if the service provider uses cookies in connection with the browser used or on other devices used to browse the site. The site uses some third-party services that, quite independently, install their own cookies.
1.2 Profiling cookies

The legal basis for processing is the user's consent. These cookies are intended to create profiles related to the user in order to send commercial messages that meet the preferences expressed during the visit or to improve your browsing experience: while you browse our site these cookies are useful to show you products of your interest or similar to those you have viewed. Third-party cookies are those sent by third-party companies we trust. These cookies allow us to offer you our marketing proposition on other affiliated websites (retargeting). On third-party cookies, we do not have control over the information provided by the cookie and do not have access to that data.
